Mt Auburn Cemetery (Watertown, MA) is always a great place to see warblers in the spring. These are photos from our visit there on Monday.

Love that oriole--is it?--in flight. Looks like you did well on the warblers. Do you identify them by song?

Yes, that's a Baltimore Oriole! Birds as really tough to photograph. Alot harder than plants! I think that's a parula warbler on the lower left with his head hidden. And a (blurry) hooded warbler (a rare find!) in the dry leaves on the right.

We identified them by a few ways. My parents were with me and they know many of the warblers very well. We hear their song, then look for them and write them down when we spot them. There are also lots of other birders at Mt Auburn cemetery and they will always tell you what's what and what they have seen where.

Seconded. Great pan shot of the Oriole in flight against the headstones. Beautiful.
