Milkweed and Monarchs

Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) is such a wonderful wildflower. A native plant. A Monarch favorite. And one that brings back childhood memories for me. Milkweed has just begun to bloom in eastern Massachusetts and today is the first day I have spotted Monarch butterflies on it. Its amazing that such a delicate insect migrates here all the way from Mexico. Does this mean our weather is now as nice as Mexico's? The weather seems wonderful to me. Low 90's today, sunny, breezy. AAhhhhh .....
