Skippy's day in Boston

Skip by Commons sign Skip at Boston Common
Yesterday, Skip and I took a walk in downtown Boston. We pretended to be tourists. It was a cold New England day with a bright blue sky. First we walked around the Boston Common. We saw a Special Operations police horse and talked with the officer a bit.

Then we went over to the Boston Public Garden and watched the skaters on the pond and sniffed around here and there. The rose garden was bare - no sign of flowers. We did see another horse - General George Washington on his bronze stallion.

We saw some cute ducks, but they didn't want to play with Skippy.

Then we walked over to Beacon Hill and checked out the cobblestone streets. Lots of dogs were out walking, freshly groomed in their their Louis Vuitton and Burberry coats.
